Dues Notice for 2025

Dues Notice for Membership Year 2025

In accordance with the Club By Laws, the Mill Creek Rifle Club board of directors voted at its November 18 regular meeting to increase the annual membership dues by $10. Dues for membership year 2025 will be set at the following:

Regular members (under age 65 and any member's first year of membership): $135 per year

Senior members (age 65 and older): $100 per year

Interested in being a Club Director?

Mill Creek 2025 Director Nominations are Open until January 20

Policy, planning, financial oversight, and direction for Mill Creek Rifle Club is overseen by a board of volunteer officers and directors elected by the membership. If you're interested in joining that leadership team, or if you know of a good candidate you'd like to recommend, the elections nominating committee is now accepting applications for four board positions.

October 2024 Member Meeting Highlights

Highlights of the October 1, 2024, Membership Meeting

The regularly scheduled monthly member meeting of the Mill Creek Rifle Club was called to order by President Michael Borkon at 7:31 p.m., October 1, 2024, in the Clubhouse. In attendance were approximately 15 members, eight board members, and guest Mike Thompson, Kansas State Senator for the 10th District. A quorum was present. Senator Thompson began the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and comments regarding the current state of Kansas politics.

Keeping the faith with our original organizational charter

At our July board meeting, we had what I considered then to be a landmark discussion. It was interesting that during a single meeting, our discussion ranged from the the original Mill Creek Rifle Club charter of nearly 67 years ago, to the discussion and eventual vote to approve the creation of a charitable foundation for the benefit of the club and youth shooting into the future. I would wager that most members don't realize this is actually one of the very principles upon which this club was founded.

First Will Sisson Annual Garand and Modern Military rifle match

Entry now open for November 2, 2024, match

The Mill Creek Rifle Club High Power sub club will sponsor a CMP-sanctioned Garand, Springfield, and Modern Military rifle match on November 2, in honor of Will Sisson, a well known and long-time highpower shooter. GSMM includes M1 Garand, Springfield, M1A, and AR15 rifles, as issued.

Plus: Be among the first 25 to register, and get FREE 30-06 ammo from the donation of longtime member Sandy Sandgren.
