Will Sisson Memorial Military Match October 5

Second Annual Will Sisson Garand and Modern Military rifle match

Join us this Sunday for this growing competition

This Sunday, October 5, is our big CMP As-Issued rifle match at Mill Creek. It combines the Will Sisson Memorial Garand Match and the CMP Kansas State Championship for Springfield, John C Garand, Vintage Military and Modern Military matches.

Top score with an M1 Garand will win both the Will Sisson match as well as the Kansas State Championship for the John C. Garand match. The winner's name will go on the plaque in the club trophy case for the former and a CMP gold medal for the latter.

Winners of the Springfield, Vintage and Modern Military matches will be awarded respective CMP gold medals.

There will be no Unlimited Garands or Unlimited Modern Military in competition this Sunday. Keep your scopes at home. Participants may compete in more than one match. However, re-entry scores will be out of competition for the Will Sisson or State Championships. Only the first score with each rifle counts.

In addition, through the generosity of Sandy Sandgren, 30-06 ammunition and 8-round Garand clips will be available at no cost to any participant who would like to use them for the match.

Full program is here with additional details. Note the later start times. We will always shoot as many individual matches as we can squeeze in. If there are any questions, feel free to reach out
