Open AR Match

Dust off that AR Platform Rifle you've been Neglecting

Call for open match entries this weekend

Mill Creek Rifle Club announces an AR Competitive Open for everyone from beginners to experts. Please join us November 1 for a friendly competition using America's favorite rifle platform.

Registration will begin at 8:30. Firing will begin at 9:30. Cost is $10 per adult and $5 for juniors.

All AR rifles are welcome; AR 10 and AR 15, alike. Shooters will be divided into sling shooting, AR tactical, scoped and non-scoped divisions. Cash awards will be provided to those placing, second or third in their divisions, provided that here are at least five shooters in each division.

All firing will be at 200 yards. The course of fire will be up to 10 sighting shots at 200 yards and then 10 slow fire shots prone for record, followed by two strings of rapid fire, 10 shots each with a magazine change in each string of fire.  We will use Shot Marker electronic scoring.  Any sized bullet may be used.

Targets used will be a reduced 300 yard target for 200 yards.

Please indicate by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to President Mike Borkon your intention to participate before hand.
