2025 Club Picnic and Founders Day Celebration

It's estimated that more than 250 Mill Creek Rifle Club members and guests turned out the morning of October 11 to celebrate the annual club picnic and dedicate the new Multipurpose Range 4 in honor of the Hodgdon Family, the founding family of Mill Creek Rifle Club. Founders Range Dedication

Mill Creek Rifle Club Director Emeritus Chris Hodgdon welcomes attendees to the opening of the Founders Range dedication ceremony.

Club President Michael Borkon welcomes members on behalf of the board of directors in dedicating the new range to the club founding family, the Hodgdons. Mr. Borkon announced that the name of the annual picnic would be renamed "Founders Day" in the future.

Swap Meet

Nearly 30 tables of firearms, equipment, ammunition, clothing, and other supplies were available in the Pavilion for the annual swap meet (photos courtesy Walt Whitaker).

Swap Meet Raffle

Thanks to the generous donations from the Hodgdon Powder Company and the Hodgdon Family, attendees won numerous raffle prizes, including reloading equipment (photos courtesy Walt Whitaker).

Thanks to Scout Troop 459

Thanks to members and leaders of Boy Scouts of America Troop 459 for once again providing an outstanding meal of hamburgers, hotdogs, bratwurst, pulled pork, baked beans, pasta and potato salad, coleslaw, chips, cookies, and drinks to all picnic attendees.
