Mill Creek Rifle Club is again at full capacity
What do you do now?
The membership renewal season has once again come to a close, with a nearly 95 percent renewal rate. In order to maintain our goal of providing a safe sport shooting environment while allowing members access to our full range of facilities, Mill Creek is forced to limit its current membership to a manageable cap. As of inclusion of the new member class scheduled for induction at the next member meeting, August 1, Mill Creek will once again have reached membership capacity.
If you are not a current member and interested in possible membership, please follow the procedure below. We anticipate still having memberships available due to normal annual attrition. If you apply using the procedure below, we will put you on a waiting list for first available positions.
Membership Information
MCRC is a private shooting club. We are very careful who we accept as members. The membership application process is not fast nor is it automated. Prospective members must first contact the Membership Director at the email address at the bottom of this page.
Membership Requirements
- Applicant is required to have the ability to legally own a firearm under all state and federal laws
- Applicant is required to provide two letters of reference. One must come from a current sponsoring MCRC member. The other letter can be written a non-member acquaintance; however, both letters must indicate the signers have recent target shooting experience with the applicant
- The applicant must pass a range safety class, which will be scheduled following acceptance of your application
- Applicant must follow all range safety rules
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
- NRA membership is required for all applicants
Membership Fees
- $300 one time initiation fee
- $125 first year membership fee regardless of age
- $20 one time safety class fee
- $125 successive annual membership fee unless the member is a senior
- $90 annual membership fees for seniors age 65 or older
Application Process
- Applicant contacts the Membership Director via email
- Membership Director pre-qualifies the applicant through an email interview
- Applicant completes the membership application, includes the two letters of reference, and sends the membership packet to the Membership Director via USPS mail.
- Applicant must attend and pass the range safety class
- Applicant attends a member meeting, and introduces himself/herself
- The members vote and decide to accept or reject the applicant
