Don't miss this special opportunity to get valuable NRA safety and shooting training at a special price for members only. Member Jason Roth, principal of Roath Training LLC, will be offering monthly firearms training courses at the club, beginning with NRA Basic Pistol course scheduled for March 14.

This course will cover topics such as parts and use of semi-autos and double and single-action revolvers, fundamentals of shooting accurately, overcoming malfunctions, and other pertinent firearm information.

The cost of the course is $35 for MCRC members and family and $50 for non-members.  If you bring one family member or friend with you to the course, then the course fee will be discounted 50% and if you bring 2 or more family members or guests with you, then the course fee will be waived for you.  These courses will start in the clubhouse in the morning and move to a bay for an afternoon range session.

You are required to bring your own lunch, eye/ear protection, and firearm/ammo (at least 100 rounds, .22 preferred).  Please click on this link to register.  If you have any questions please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Watch here for more details about these classes soon.  Completion of the NRA Basic Pistol course (or proof of prior completion) is required before taking the NRA Personal Protection in the Home course. Please refer to the MCRC calendar for additional scheduled firearms trainings, which are generally the second Sunday of the month.
